Mid 1900s Anatolian handmade wedding chest (dowry box) with decorated metal sheets and embroidery. The box has 2 internal jewelry sections on each side and beautifully painted tribal marks. It also has two round shape sections which was used to insert the photos of the owners. Originally given as a gift to newly married couples, the box can be a beautiful compliment to contemporary homes as an object and storage.

A very rare find. It doesn't look like it, but this is a traditional 'Parmakli' rug from Afyon, Turkey. Made entirely from wool, it is handwoven with a vibrant geometric pattern and an eclectic palette of rich jewel tones, soft neutrals, and earthy hues.
